Antioch Manor is an apartment complex located on the west side of Cincinnati. Antioch is for adult individuals with qualified disabilities. This 24-unit complex offers both 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. All units at Antioch qualify as Section 8 housing. Section 8 housing asks for 30% of a resident’s income. To qualify for housing at Antioch, an individual must have documentation of his/her disability, must meet federal guidelines of very low income, and meet HUD’s definition of disability.
Parkway Towers is an apartment complex located in downtown Cincinnati for individuals of very low income. This apartment complex has both efficiency and 1 bedroom apartments for up to 95 residents.
Parkway Towers is an all adult facility with 85 apartments qualifying as Section 8. Section 8 housing allows qualified individuals to pay up to 30% of their income for rent. All potential applicants must go thru a screening process to determine eligibility for an apartment. The screening criteria can be reviewed at the Property manager’s office when coming to apply. All applicants must meet HUD federal guidelines for very low income as well as Parkway’s tenant selection plan requirements. Parkway Towers takes applications at the Property Management Office, Monday thru Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is a waiting list and all applications are processed in the order taken. Along with Section 8 apartments, Parkway Towers also has available apartments that will accept either the market rate rent or choice vouchers from Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing.
Woodlands is a 50-unit apartment complex available for seniors with developmental disabilities. The facility is located in Middletown, Ohio and offers both 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Woodlands is Volunteers of America Ohio River Valley’s newest residential facility. Completed in 2004, Woodlands offers residents comfortable apartments and community activity rooms, outdoor walking path, and many other wonderful features.
